Is there life in outer space?

There are many great questions about life, the universe, and everything. One of the greatest of these questions is: “Are we alone in the universe?” People have looked up into the sky at night many times, and wondered if there is life on other planets. The universe is a huge place, so what are the chances that Earth is the only one with life on it?
When we think of aliens, we often think of creatures that look like people, with one head, two arms and two legs. Sometimes we imagine they are green and have big black eyes. But an alien could be the size or shape of an animal. They could live in water or fly through the air. They could be as big as a whale (לוויתן), or as small as an insect. There could even be alien bacteria — it sounds weird, but it’s very possible. Maybe Aliens don’t even need to drink water to live, who knows?
Over the years, we have tried to find proof of alien existence using different methods. We have looked for any signs of alien life on the moon and on Mars using NASA’s Mars Rovers. SETI projects, which are “search for extraterrestrial intelligence,” have also used many different scientific methods. We have made special radios and telescopes to find Aliens
This also makes us wonder: if Aliens did exist, would they even try to contact us? Even if they did, we might not be able to understand anything they say! Our technology might not be as good as theirs, so we might not understand them. Also, since space is huge, it takes a very long time for anything to travel through space – that means that even if we get a sign from an alien, it could be something that was sent a long time ago.
Some religions say there are other worlds out there, but these are just interpretations. For example, the Talmud says that there are over 18,000 other worlds! But we’re not sure if it talks about real physical worlds, or just spiritual worlds.
There are lots of crazy stories about people who say they’ve seen Aliens There are many people who say they have seen UFOs (עב"מים- עצמים בלתי מזוהים) in the sky. Other people have said that they were taken to space by Aliens There are also strange theories, like the one about Stonehenge (a big circle made out of very big stones) in England. Some say Stonehenge was created by Aliens or is really used to contact Aliens
Science fiction books, TV, movies and video games often have Aliens in some way. This can show us different possibilities of what would happen if humans and Aliens met. For example, in the Star Wars movies, in the future people and Aliens could live together on different planets. In Men in Black (גברים בשחור), Aliens secretly live on Earth, but have normal lives like the rest of us. In E.T. they’re nice and friendly. But in Independence Day (היום השלישי), the Aliens want to take over Earth and then destroy the planet.
